Chairs
Artisanal chairs designed and built in black walnut and cherry and other hardwoods. Each piece is signed and dated.
Above right, work in process on a swivel chair with seat and legs attached. It is undergoing initial shaping with disc sander and rasps. Then the chair will be machine and hand sanded, up to 400 grit. Next the spindles will be added, and finally the crest. The swivel chairs all have a separate base with tilting and rotating hardware made by Northfield Metals of Canada.
