Stillpond Bench for Two

18" x 50" x 15" deep.  Cherry with Tiger Maple inset seat.  

The Still Pond Bench is named for a town on the Eastern Shore in Maryland and is one of my favorite pieces.  Award winner at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center craft show in Alexandria Va. It is simple and elegant.  It looks good in either cherry or black walnut.  The top floats on cleats attached to the base.  The tiger maple ripples like water and shimmers in the light.
